Traditional hoodies and hats are made with materials that simply aren’t kind to natural hair. That's why we use Satin:

• It naturally retains moisture because the fabric, like Cotton, does not absorb it from your hair.  
• Unlike Cotton, Satin is a much softer and silkier material. The rougher the material the more breakage and frizz you'll have. Satin minimizes this! 
• Satin is simply less disruptive. Whether it be full out fro, last night’s twists, summer braids or your forever locs, satin saves your style! Less friction means more preservation.

Above all, we value quality! Our satin is top quality, not just because that’s what you deserve, but because it’s what works! We use 85gsm 50*75D satin for our hoodies. As a reminder, Satin is not a fabric - it's a type of weave and can be made from a variety of materials. Our Satin Lining is made of 100% Polyester.
